Newark Fall Leaf Collection Services

The City of Newark will begin collecting leaves on October 2nd and will continue until December.

Neighborhoods will no longer have designated pickup days.
Instead, trucks will transit through the city regularly during the season to maximize efficiency.

Residents are urged to rake leaves into heaps (no bagging) and deposit them on the grassy space between the sidewalk and the curb.

Residents could expect pickup once per week at the start of the season and every other week throughout peak season.
